I live in Carroll, Iowa with my husband and three children. Before getting married I completed my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, but I didn't feel teaching was the right career for me. I worked as a stay at home mom for five years until I took the leap and founded Tyne & True Event Planning in 2025.

My event planning journey began when I helped my cousin with her small wedding in Texas. I had a lightbulb moment that I love the challenges of planning special events, and seeing the reward that comes from those precious moments.
